Learn to ride differently
At Ranch des Dunes, every riding lesson begins with grooming the horse. Brushing, tacking up — your mount is prepared alongside you. This ritual creates an essential bond of trust before getting in the saddle. Then, under Bicha's supervision, you work on the fundamentals: position, aids, balance, and progressively the three gaits — walk, trot, canter.
Lessons are mostly one-on-one for optimal learning, but can also be held in small groups. Whether you are a complete beginner who has never been near a horse, a leisure rider looking to improve, or an advanced rider wanting to work on dressage, Bicha tailors each session to your level and goals.
Bicha, an exceptional horseman
Mohamed Bicha entered the world of horse riding at 14 as an equestrian stunt performer in cinema. Trained by a Cadre Noir master from the Saumur school — France's most prestigious riding academy — he then learned Cossack vaulting and managed the ranches at Club Med Marrakech and Yasmina.
Today at the helm of Ranch des Dunes, he shares his passion with skill and patience, with children and adults alike. His Arab-Barb horses are trained with care and discipline — each one is matched to the rider's level, build and personality.
